Lichtekooi presented the Lichtekooi webshop concept booth designed by winnie t at the the first edition of ARTIST RUN FAIR!
This year WillieWillieStudio & Reset Atelier proudly presented the inaugural edition of ARTIST RUN FAIR, an initiative that brings together eleven art spaces. Set within the monumental walls of the Marquis building, this fair seeks to challenge and disrupt traditional market structures by redefining the relationship between artists, galleries, and audiences.
Emphasising a bottom-up artist-run framework, ARTIST RUN FAIR fosters an environment of creative freedom and exchange, providing the opportunity to both local and international art spaces to showcase work on their own terms, without the constraints of conventional commercial systems. This initiative celebrates independent artistic voices, encouraging experimentation, collaboration and new modes of engagement within the art world.
For this first edition the eleven exhibitors are: Mars (Frankfurt), 1zwei3 (Vienna), Plicnik Space Initiative (London), Pizza Gallery (Antwerp), Will!e (Amsterdam), Platform Archipel (Ghent), Avee (Courtrai), Sybil (Brussels), Space Collection (Liège), Gia’s Viewing Room (Paris) and Lichtekooi (Antwerp).
The webshop for Lichtekooi supporters is a visualisation of all costs associated with running an exhibition space, both overhead costs and project-related costs, ranging from toilet paper to artist fees. Using this webshop you can support Lichtekooi by contributing to a specific cost of our operation. As proof of purchase, Lichtekooi supporters receive an invoice designed by an artist. This year the invoice is designed by Kasper De Vos!
