Lichtekooi Artspace nodigt FAAR en Follie uit als co-hosts voor de vierde jaarlijkse Sportdag. Dit jaar krijgt de Lichtekooi Sportdag een middeleeuws karakter.
In Park Den Brandt organiseren we een reeks spelactiviteiten in openlucht: hobbyhorse-races, een steekspeltoernooi, touwtrekken, torenbouwen en armworstelen. Geen klassieke sportdag dus, maar een eclectisch speelveld vol competitie en plezier, dit jaar geïnspireerd door middeleeuwse sport- en speltradities.
De winnaars ontvangen medailles ontworpen door Fabrice Hofmans. Lina Ejdaa zorgt voor de muziek. William Ludwig Lutgens en Elen Braga treden op als scheidsrechters.
Met bijzondere dank aan Jackson Shallcross-Platt, Stijn ter Braak, Ruben De Smet en alle FAAR-kunstenaars!

Outdoors in Park Den Brandt, we will organize a series of physical games: hobby horse racing, a jousting tournament, tug of war, tower building, and arm wrestling. Not your typical sports day, but an eclectic field of play, competition, and fun, inspired this year by medieval sporting activities.
Winners will be awarded medals designed by Fabrice Hofmans. Music will be provided by Lina Ejdaa. William Ludwig Lutgens and Elen Braga will serve as referees. Special thanks to Jackson Shallcross-Platt, Stijn ter Braak, and Ruben De Smet and all FAAR artists!
PROGRAMME:
*15:15-16:00: Arm Wrestling
*16:00-16:45: Tug of War Tournament
*16:45–18:15: Hobby Horses with Obstacle Race; Relay Race; Jousting Tournament
*18:15–19:00: Castle Tower Building
